Royals' Escobar in lineup Tuesday vs. Astros

Kansas City Royals shortstop Alcides Escobar (finger) is back in the lineup Tuesday against the Houston Astros.

Analysis:

He was forced to leave Sunday's game after taking a groundball off his right index finger, and was then a late scratch from Monday's starting lineup. However, it seems the discomfort has subsided enough to where Escobar can at least adequately throw and swing a bat. The 28-year-old will man short and lead off against lefty Dallas Keuchel.
