LeBron James: Opts Out Of Contract
James will opt out of the final year of his contract with the Cavaliers and become a free agent, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports reports. He is expected to re-sign with the Cavs.
Analysis:
James is expected to stay with Cleveland despite opting out of his contract for the 2015-16 season. He intends to wait and see what the Cavaliers do during the first few weeks of the free agency before officially re-signing. James led the Cavs to the NBA Finals, but they cam up short, so it's understandable that he's doing this to put some pressure on the Cavaliers organization. Despite the fact that he's expected to return to Cleveland, this is still obviously a situation to watch, as James remains one of the best fantasy players in the league.
