MLS Game Summary - Columbus at Real Salt Lake

Sandy, UT (SportsNetwork.com) - Ethan Finlay scored a goal and set up another as Columbus Crew SC and Real Salt Lake played to a 2-2 draw at Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday.

Olmes Garcia and Tony Tchani traded goals in the final 10 minutes of the first half before the home side came out strong in the second half with a goal in the opening minute from Sebastian Jaime.

However, Finlay netted the equalizer in the 62nd minute, and RSL held on for a point despite playing the final 13 minutes with 10 men after Jordan Allen was sent off.

Columbus came into the game with four points from its last two matches, but the visitors went behind in the 36th with a brilliantly worked set piece goal that saw Luke Mulholland, Kyle Beckerman and Joao Plata involved before Garcia provided the final touch.

It took just six minutes for Crew SC to reply and the goal came from some good work on the right wing from Hector Jimenez, whose low cross was knocked off the left post and into the net by a first-time shot from Tchani.

The second half got off to a flying start for RSL as the hosts took the lead in the opening minute when a long clearance from Abdoulie Mansally allowed Jaime to track down the ball and take advantage of some confusion between goalkeeper Steve Clark and defender Emanuel Pogatetz to put his team in front.

After having a hand in the opening goal for Columbus, Finlay tallied his third goal of the season after a nice set up from Federico Higuain to pull Crew SC back to level terms.

But after Allen was sent off for a poor challenge on Tchani in midfield, Salt Lake was content to hold on for a point.
