He will likely be in for a decent payday, as the 29-year-old defender has been a solid offensive contributor throughout his NHL career when injuries haven't gotten in the way. Green tallied 45 points in 72 games with Washington last season, and will likely go to a team with cap room to spare looking for a boost in offensive production from the blue line.
