Hanlan was selected by the Jazz with the 42nd overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.

Analysis:

Hanlan was one of the better scorers in the ACC last season, averaging 19.5 points on 45.4 percent shooting. At 6-4, he projects to play point guard at the NBA level, but questions remain about his ability to play on the ball, as he often worked at shooting guard at Boston College. Hanlan enters a situation in Utah where he's unlikely to see major minutes as a rookie. With Rodney Hood, Alec Burks, Trey Burke and Dante Exum already established as primary backcourt players, Hanlan will have a difficult time cracking the rotation.
