Report: Jaguars, Chiefs, Patriots inquiring about Josh Cribbs

Ron Schwane / USA TODAY Sports

Kick return specialist Josh Cribbs remains a free agent, but fielded inquiries from the Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, and New England Patriots, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

Cribbs was released by the Indianapolis Colts on May 1. He returned 19 kickoffs for 608 yards, and 19 punts for 125 yards in 2014.

The 32-year-old's eight career kick return touchdowns are tied for the most all-time, along with former New York Jets running back Leon Washington.

Cribbs can also be used as a wide receiver, and could provide depth to the Chiefs' group that failed to record a single touchdown last season.
