It appears as though Martin St. Louis has received the necessary interest to hold off retirement.

The New York Post's Larry Brooks is reporting that St. Louis is not prepared to retire, and may share mutual interest with the New Jersey Devils and Pittsburgh Penguins.

The longtime Tampa Bay Lightning forward who played the last two seasons as a member of the New York Rangers said after the season that he will take time to plot out his next move, but being close to family was non-negotiable, even if it was at the expense of his career.

Pittsburgh and New Jersey, and any other Metropolitan Division franchise for that matter, would presumably offer the best of both worlds.
