Curry reportedly sends Drazen Petrovic's mother a finals jersey
Drazen Petrovic was a dynamic shooting guard who was on the cusp of NBA stardom when his life was cut short by a car accident in 1993 at the age of 28.
In the 1992 NBA All-Star 3-point Contest, Stephen Curry's father Dell competed against Petrovic (pictured above at the far right while an almost-four-year-old Steph sits on Dell's lap).
Well, it seems that weekend had an impact on a young Steph, and following the Golden State Warriors' NBA championship win, he sent Petrovic's mother a jersey from the series, according to ESPN's Mark Jones.

Petrovic has a museum in his honor in Zagreb, Croatia. The ties that bind NBA history are pretty cool sometimes.
