Analysis:
Alex Okafor is all but penciled in as the three-down strong-side linebacker, which leaves Woodley and Lorenzo Alexander to man the weak side. Because Alexander is a special-teams maven, his role on defense is expected to be situational. Thus, Woodley will likely be afforded a workload significant enough to show off his wares as a pass rusher. In eight professional seasons, he's tallied double-digit sacks three times on his way to 57 in 100 career games.
