McClellin has seemed to adapt well thus far to the position move to inside linebacker from the outside, where his lack of speed made him something of a liability in coverage. He'll still have to hold off free-agent signing Mason Foster for starting duties, but McClellin will likely retain the top designation on the depth chart for the time being.
