Youssouf Mulumbu is on his way to Norwich City after agreeing to join the Canaries once his contract with West Bromwich Albion expires.

The midfielder, who will link up with his new team on a free transfer July 1, has agreed to a two-year contract with the recently promoted Premier League squad, the team announced.

"The fact that we've been able to pick Youssouf up on a free transfer is a fantastic piece of business," manager Alex Neil said.

"His arrival will add to the competition for places. We have a strong squad with a lot of players that have done well in the Premier League and Youssouf will bring that competition to the squad.

Mulumbu, a native of the Democratic Republic of Congo, joined West Brom in 2009 and went on to make 211 appearances in all competitions.
