Injury bug takes a bite out of Tiger-Cat training camp

Hamilton Tiger-Cats training camp hasn't exactly been player-friendly ahead of the 2015 season.

Last week, the team announced that running back Mossis Madu (shoulder surgery) and defensive tackle Brian Bulcke (ACL) will be sidelined for the whole season.

On Sunday, another player was added to the list of walking wounded as wide receiver Luke Tasker left Ron Joyce Stadium with a lower body injury, according to Drew Edwards of the Hamilton Spectator.

Earlier in training camp, running back C.J. Gable suffered a hand injury and is said to be out for up to four weeks.

Other players bitten by the injury bug include offensive lineman Stephane Milhim, who was seen on crutches, defensive back Rico Murray, who has a hamstring injury, and running back Michael Ford, who was placed on the six-game injured list, just to name a few.

Injury bug repellent may come in handy to complete the final three days of training camp before the Ticats head to Manitoba for their second pre-season game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on June 19th.
