MLS Game Summary - Los Angeles at Columbus

Columbus, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Federico Higuain's second-half goal rescued a point for Columbus Crew SC on Saturday in a tense 1-1 draw with the Los Angeles Galaxy at MAPFRE Stadium.

Crew SC came into the contest looking to snap a three-match losing streak, but struggled early on and fell behind after just 14 minutes of play.

Galaxy defender Robbie Rogers started the play when he drove into the penalty area on the left side of the pitch and cut to the inside looking for a shooting lane.

Rogers lost the ball in his feet, but Sebastian Lletget was there to blast it past Crew goalkeeper Steve Clark to the near post to put the visitors in front at the break.

But the Crew battled back to equalize in the 66th minute as Ethan Finlay ran in behind the Galaxy defense and played it across to Higuain for an easy tap- in and his fourth goal of the campaign.

The fourth official's board showed three minutes of added time, but neither side could find a winner and were forced to settle for a share of the spoils.
