Hamilton Tiger-Cats head coach and general manager Kent Austin announced Friday that defensive tackle Brian Bulcke will miss the 2015 season due to an ACL injury.

It's the second straight year Bulcke has suffered a season-ending injury. He played only eight games in 2014 before tearing his bicep.

The former CFL first-round pick spent his first two seasons in the league with the Calgary Stampeders before signing with the Ticats in 2013. He has recorded eight career sacks and was a nominee for Most Outstanding Defensive Player and Most Outstanding Canadian Player two seasons ago.

Bulcke isn't the only Hamilton player who will miss the upcoming season, with fellow Canadian defensive tackle Linden Gaydosh and running back Mossis Madu also ruled out for the 2015 campaign.
