PHOTO: Cavaliers' Irving watches Game 2 of NBA Finals from hospital bed

Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving isn't physically able to help his team capture a potential first NBA Championship in franchise history.

A fractured left knee cap suffered during Game 1 of the series made sure of that.

The three-time NBA All-Star underwent successful surgery on Saturday to repair the issue, although his recovery time will keep him on the shelf for the next three-to-four months.

Lying in a hospital bed with his leg heavily wrapped up, Irving watched his team battle hard and escape the Bay Area with a much needed road victory.

As LeBron James recapped the win during a postgame interview - moments after recording his fifth triple-double in his Finals career - Irving posted the following Instagram photo with a congratulatory message to his teammates.

Yessir!! Way to bounce back fellas!!!! Great team win!!!
