Lions' McCallum says he isn't retiring

A day after Paul McCallum denied asking to be released by the BC Lions, the kicker assured his fans that he's not ready to retire through Twitter.

McCallum began by thanking everyone for backing him.

Although that made it sound as though his long career was ending, he quickly clarified.

McCallum claims the Lions asked him to retire as a member of their organization, or he would be cut. Now it appears as though he'll seek employment with another team in the league.
