Ricky Stenhouse Jr.: Does not make qualifying attempt

Stenhouse will start at the rear of Sunday's Cup Series Race at Phoenix Raceway after failing to make a qualifying attempt due to an engine change, Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports reports.

Analysis:

Stenhouse's car was rolled back to the garage after the short 20-minute practice session. Phoenix is not the easiest track to pass on, but a lot of the Chevy's have looked fast in the limited time on track. With his official starting position being 36th, he definitely has some DFS upside.
