Giancarlo Stanton and Bryce Harper are two of the most feared power hitters in the majors thanks in part to their raw strength.

Los Angeles Dodgers rookie outfielder Joc Pederson wedged himself into that illustrious category coming into the second game of a Tuesday doubleheader on the heels of hitting the season's second-longest homer.

And in the nightcap against the Colorado Rockies, he one-upped himself: Pederson hit a 480-foot home run to dead center field, the longest of any player this season and his 16th home run of the campaign.

To put things in perspective, Stanton's longest home run as a rookie was 436 feet. As of his latest bomb, Pederson has six homers this season that reached at least that distance.

Since Monday night alone, he has three home runs of at least 450 feet. He's the first rookie with a homer in four consecutive games since George Springer of the Houston Astros accomplished the feat last season.
