David de Gea isn't dropping any hints as speculation continues to surround his future at Old Trafford.

All signs point to the 24-year-old 'keeper leaving Manchester United this summer to join Real Madrid, his hometown club. In addition to being born in the Spanish capital, both his girlfriend and parents reside in Spain, meaning a move to the Santiago Bernabeu would be fairly logical.

However, speaking at a ceremony at the historic Palace of Fuensalida in the Spanish city of Toledo where he received the title of adoptive son of Castilla-La Mancha, De Gea offered no indication that he had made up his mind.

"We'll see what happens with my future," said De Gea, as translated by the Guardian. "I'm on vacation now and very happy for this recognition."

United reportedly offered De Gea a £150,000-a-week contract, and manager Louis van Gaal recently warned the Spanish shot-stopper of how much he'd lose by joining Real Madrid, saying: "You have seen the fans - unbelievable. When he is going, he is losing that. Here he has a lot of credits. He has to decide."
