49ers' Navorro Bowman expects to be an All-Pro in 2015; knee not fully healthy

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Navorro Bowman is coming off a torn ACL that cost him the entire 2014 season, but his confidence is still intact.

Will he return to being an All-Pro in 2015, something he did three consecutive times before his injury?

"No doubt. No doubt," Bowman said, according to Matt maiocco of CSN Bay Area. "The knee will get to where it needs to be, maybe not as fast as you guys expect. I'm definitely going to get back to that level."

The recovery has been slow and although pain has subsided, Bowman says there is a lack of feeling and confidence in the knee. That is still limiting the on-field movement of one of the remaining veteran 49ers defenders.

"It hasn't been consistent," Bowman said. "I go out there some days and I feel great and some days I have to fight through it. That's part of the process. I understand that. But mentally, it messes with me sometimes."

Participating in all three days of the 49ers' OTA practices, Bowman has looked like his old self at times, notching an interception in 11-on-11 drills on Friday.

"Just to get out there and do something is always good for the knee. As long as I keep doing that, it'll get used to knowing that I want to get out there playing football."
