Paul Millsap: (Shoulder) Won't Require Surgery
Millsap (shoulder) said Thursday that his sprained right shoulder will not require offseason surgery, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Analysis:
The injury first surfaced near the end of the regular season, when Millsap missed five games prior to the start of the playoffs. While he wasn't visibly hampered during the postseason, Millsap's numbers took a dip, as he shot just 40.7 percent from the field in 16 contests. The free-agent-to-be will likely take several weeks off to recover before returning to basketball activities.
