Report: Chargers, city of San Diego to talk stadium proposal June 2

The San Diego Chargers are not leaving the city without a fight.

With relocation a very real possibility, the Chargers are set to meet with representatives from the city of San Diego on June 2 to talk about a stadium proposal, according to multiple sources.

The Carson City Council approved a stadium proposal last month that would house both the Chargers and Oakland Raiders, so it's now or never for San Diego if they don't want to lose the franchise.

The Chargers opted not to exercise their termination clause in the Qualcomm Stadium lease for 2015, but without a suitable plan for a new facility come the fall, there is a strong chance the team won't be in San Diego next season.
