Millsap may undergo surgery on his sprained right shoulder in the offseason, Howard Beck of the Bleacher Report reports.
Analysis:
Millsap suffered from the shoulder injury in April and missed fives games before being deemed healthy enough to play in the playoffs. Millsap's playoff numbers have dipped a bit, as he is shooting 41 percent from the field in the postseason compared 48 percent in the regular season and his shoulder may be the reason why. However, given that he played 46 minutes in his last outing, the All-Star is still expected to close out the playoffs, which could end for he and the Hawks as early as Tuesday night with the team down 3-0 to the Cavaliers.
