Phil Jagielka: Nine clearances in Spurs loss

Jagielka finished off his strong season with nine clearances and two blocked shots in a 1-0 loss to Tottenham on Sunday.

Analysis:

Jagielka was named Everton player of the year last week and showed why on Sunday. He played in all but one game this season and finished the season with a surprising four goals. With that said, his defensive abilities is what makes him so valuable to Everton.
