Federer says Wimbledon has 'gone too far' with clothing guidelines

Roger Federer's wrath against Grand Slam events continues.

After voicing his displeasure with French Open security Sunday following an incident with a selfie-seeking fan, Federer shot criticisms toward Wimbledon when asked about his colorful outfit in Paris.

"It's going to change when Wimbledon comes around because rules have become ridiculously strict over there; and I love Wimbledon, but they have gone too far now," Federer said of the all-white policy at the All England Club.

"No color any more basically. So it's rough there...let's enjoy the color while we can."

With the record for career Grand Slam titles at 17, Federer has more than earned the right to voice his opinion on the majors. There is no word yet on his opinions on the heat in Melbourne or the new roof at Arthur Ashe Stadium, but organizers in the United States and Australia best be prepared.

Federer won his opening match Sunday beating Alejandro Falla in straight sets.
