Jose Mourinho open to managing elsewhere in England

While it's tough to imagine, a day could come when Jose Mourinho is tasked with guiding an English team not named Chelsea to glory.

The Portuguese boss, on the heels of a Premier League-winning campaign, admitted that he's open to the possibility of coaching elsewhere in England when his deal at Stamford Bridge expires or when owner Roman Abramovich decides his time is up.

"I see myself coaching another club, yes, but I love Chelsea and I am in Mr. Abramovich's hands and until then I am here," Mourinho told the BBC. "The day Mr. Abramovich thinks I am not good enough for Chelsea, I want to work, and if possible in England too."

The way Chelsea dominated England's top flight, Abramovich is unlikely to give Mourinho his walking papers anytime soon.

Chelsea wrapped up the title with three matches remaining and never had a realistic challenger during the final months of the season.

While under contract with Chelsea, Mourinho said he's unlikely to be enticed by other opportunities, no matter the club, as he's enjoying a second successful run with the club.

"Until Mr. Abramovich says, I don't see myself going," he said. "Any club comes to me now and offers me a fantastic project, offers me twice my wages in the contract at Chelsea, no chance."
