The monkey is finally off of Martin St. Louis' back.

The New York Rangers veteran forward scored his first goal of the postseason on a power play during the third period of Friday's Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

St. Louis drew a high sticking call on Nikita Nesterov and capitalized 28 seconds into the ensuing man advantage. Derick Brassard sent a pass through the slot that St. Louis one-timed past Ben Bishop, giving the Rangers a 4-1 lead.

St. Louis entered the postseason with 83 points in 88 career playoff appearances. The 39-year-old has a goal and six assists in 16 contests.
