Report: Maple Leafs spoke to Guy Boucher; could be assistant coach candidate

The Toronto Maple Leafs might not be done hiring new coaching personnel.
After the team landed the long sought-after Mike Babcock, reports suggested they might have another hire in mind.
The team reportedly spoke to former Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Guy Boucher about their head-coaching position, and though the job has been filled, TSN's Bob McKenzie claimed an assistant coach position could be on the table.
However, Boucher could be a candidate for a head-coaching job elsewhere, including the now Babcock-less Detroit Red Wings.
Boucher last coached the Lightning back in 2012-13, but was fired after 32 games.
