Chase Briscoe: Earns 2021 Rookie of the Year

Stewart-Haas Racing driver Briscoe officially earned the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors Sunday, NASCAR.com reports.

For the second-straight season Stewart-Haas Racing claims the ROTY honors with Briscoe. He followed on Cole Custer's strong 2020 campaign to earn the rookie award for the SHR stable. Briscoe finished the season 23rd in the driver points with three Top-10 finishes. The young driver will look to make gains in 2022 with the same No. 14 SHR Ford team.
