Orlando City's Adrian Heath would be 'delighted' if club signed Chicharito

Most clubs speak in vague terms when discussing potential transfer dealings, trying their best to ensure that rivals, and agents, don't catch wind of their plans.

It's understandable, if frustrating.

Orlando City, though, isn't interested in playing coy.

Head coach Adrian Heath admitted that the expansion side is interested in signing Real Madrid striker Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez, whose future remains unclear as his loan spell from Manchester United inches towards its conclusion.

"I think that Chicharito, as he has proved at Real Madrid, would fit into our team very nicely," Heath told the official MLS website.

"He is a quality player and I don't think there is a team in the MLS that wouldn't want him - we are included in that. We will see if it comes to fruition. I will be delighted if it does."

The Mexican striker, 26, has openly discussed his disappointment with a lack of playing time with the Spanish giants this season, and given the cluster of forwards already at United - a group that could get larger this summer - it seems likely that his future lies with a new club.
