Pau Gasol: (Hamstring) Will Try To Play Game 6

Gasol (hamstring) said he has "no residual pain" after Wednesday's practice and will try to play in Game 6 on Thursday, KC Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Gasol was initially ruled a game-time call, but after going through a light workout Wednesday his hamstring is feeling well enough to give it a go. The big man intimated that he likely won't be able to play his usual minutes load, so Taj Gibson should continue to play an integral role as the third big behind Gasol and Noah. Gasol has been criticized for his struggles defensively and on the glass this series, but he's a far superior interior and mid-range scorer than Gibson or Noah.
