Balotelli (foot) was not included in Sunday's 18-man roster against Chelsea.

Analysis:

Balotelli had a chance to play in Sunday's match but apparently failed his late fitness test as he continues to deal with a gash on his foot that was suffered against Hull City on April 28. His next opportunity to play will be against Crystal Palace on Saturday while Rickie Lambert and Jerome Sinclair should continue to see unexpected minutes if Balotelli remains sidelined.
