Rockets' Terry says foul that got him tossed from Game 3 downgraded to flagrant 1

Houston Rockets point guard Jason Terry took out some frustration on Blake Griffin in the fourth quarter of Friday night's Game 3 blowout loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Terry was hit with a flagrant-2 foul for the unprovoked shove and booted from the game.

Terry said Saturday that he believes the league, upon review, has opted to change the ruling and downgrade the foul.

Effectively, this would make Terry exempt from further disciplinary action from the league office, such as a fine or suspension.
