Hawks' Millsap scratched from starting lineup due to illness

The Atlanta Hawks had a new-look starting lineup for Game 3 against the Washington Wizards on Saturday, as power forward Paul Millsap was a late scratch from the first unit due to flu-like symptoms.

Millsap was able to play off the Hawks' bench, but Pero Antic drew the start in his place. That meant nominal starting center Al Horford slid down to the four to begin the game, as he's a more natural power forward than Antic.

Millsap, despite struggling with his shot as he continues to recover from a late-season shoulder sprain, has been an all-around menace in the playoffs, averaging 15.9 points, 10.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 2.4 steals and 1.1 blocks through eight games.

Antic can't come close to replicating Millsap's defense, passing or versatility as a scorer, but he can do a similarly effective job of stretching the floor by dragging opposing bigs out to the 3-point line. He's shooting 43.5 percent from deep in the postseason thus far.
