Marcus Mariota was the No. 2 pick in last week's NFL draft, but he's No. 1 in the eyes of Sports Illustrated.
The quarterback graces the cover of this week's issue of the magazine, next to the headline "Flash of the Titans."
Jameis Winston edged Mariota as the first quarterback drafted, but the Tennessee Titans' decision to select Mariota instead of trading back was the story of the draft.
Eagle-eyed Titans fans will notice Mariota is wearing navy blue over white in the photo, which is the uniform combination the Titans wore in their lone Super Bowl appearance. The Titans are switching from light-blue primary jerseys back to navy this season.
