Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Mychal Kendricks joined the team's offseason workouts after missing the first two weeks, according to Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer

Kendricks was rumored to be part of a trade package that would net the Eagles the second overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. However, the proposed deal with the Tennessee Titans never came to fruition.

The 24-year-old recorded 83 tackles, four sacks and three forced fumbles in 12 games in 2014.

Kendricks spent the last two weeks with his family, as his younger brother Eric was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the second round

Selected in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft, Kendricks enters the final year of his contract as a core member of the Eagles' revamped linebacking core that includes stars Kiko Alonso and Connor Barwin. Eagles head coach Chip Kelly believes Kendricks will return to Philadelphia, but he'll become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
