Sam Bradford reportedly looking for no-trade clause in extension from Eagles

If the Philadelphia Eagles are thinking of using Sam Bradford as trade bait during the NFL draft, the quarterback is going to make it very difficult for them to do so.

Bradford will not agree to a contract extension with another team and is looking for a no-trade clause from the Eagles, according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN.

Mortensen adds that Bradford wants to play for head coach Chip Kelly and offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur.

Rumors have persisted that Kelly may try to flip Bradford to another team at the draft in order to move up the board only a month after acquiring him.

For that to happen, it's a near certainty that Bradford would have to agree to an extension with a potential new team. Bradford has one year left on his current deal and is due to make almost $13 million. No team is likely to part with much for a quarterback that could bolt after only one season.

It's also a bold demand for Bradford to make coming off two torn ACLs.
