Blue Jays' Bautista returns to lineup Monday following 5 game absence

The Toronto Blue Jays will have Jose Bautista back in the lineup Monday as they kick off a three-game series with the Boston Red Sox.

Bautista, who will hit fourth and act as the team's designated hitter, told reporters following batting practice that his shoulder doesn't feel "anywhere close to 100 percent," but he feels as if it's good enough to swing a bat.

"I haven't even attempted to throw a baseball and I don't even have a timeline on that," Bautista said

The five-time All-Star has been held out of the lineup since last Tuesday with shoulder soreness after attempting to throw out a runner at first base from right field.

While Bautista is off to a slow start this season, hitting .149/.322/.426 with four home runs and 12 strikeouts, he's felt right at home at Fenway Park. In 47 games, he's hitting .299/.387/.667 with 20 home runs and 42 RBIs.
