Austin Hill: Fast Charlotte Practice

Hill was fastest in Friday practice for the NC Education Lottery 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. He turned a fast lap of 177.684 mph.

Analysis:

Hill has been the equivalent of an intermediate oval ace this season in the truck series. It was no surprise to see the driver of the No. 16 Toyota Tundra lead the lone practice session at Charlotte. Hill has a great chance to win the pole position for Friday night's NC Education Lottery 200, and a decent shot of winning the race.
