Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie says he's accepting calls about No. 4 pick

Kirby Lee / USA TODAY Sports

Oakland Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie said he's fielding calls about the team's fourth overall pick in next week's NFL draft.

The Raiders could dramatically upgrade one of their several positions of need with the selection, but may be presented with an offer that can't be matched.

"My phone line is always open," McKenzie said via Scott Bair of CSNBayArea.com. "You hear everybody out. If it makes sense and it's going to help the Raiders, we'll do a deal."

McKenzie never stated an active intent to trade the pick, but it wouldn't be a surprise anymore if the Raiders were a part of a dramatic trade on draft night. The Cleveland Browns held the fourth overall pick last year, and traded down when the Buffalo Bills traded the ninth pick and this year's first-round choice in order to select Sammy Watkins.
