VIDEO: Nets close 1st quarter with dazzling 2-way sequence

Dale Zanine / USA TODAY Sports

After taking a tough loss in Game 2 on Wednesday, the Brooklyn Nets returned home in a 2-0 hole against the Atlanta Hawks

The sting of that defeat didn't appear to have stuck with them, as they rebounded with one of their best quarters of the season to start Game 3. Getting it done at both ends of the floor, the Nets outscored the Hawks by 15 in the first quarter.

They capped it with this terrific sequence, in which tight defensive rotations forced a contested three, Deron Williams and Jarrett Jack combined to secure the board and keep the ball in bounds, Williams hit Jack leaking out in transition, and Jack passed up a three to run a gorgeous tic-tac-toe with Alan Anderson and Brook Lopez.
