Aric Almirola: Crash and DNF at Dover

Almirola crashed and finished 37th in the Drydene 400 at Dover International Speedway Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

The woeful season continued for the No. 10 Stewart Haas Racing team Sunday at Dover. Almirola made it through three-quarters of the event and everything looked within reach to make it to the end. However, a mechanical failure on the No. 10 Ford would send Almirola crashing hard into the turn 4 wall. The damage would be extensive and retire the veteran driver for the day. It was his fifth DNF of the season.
