NAC would make Anderson Silva's drug test results available to IOC, USADA

The Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) doesn't have the ability to keep Anderson Silva from competing at the 2016 Olympics, but they will make his failed drug test results readily available for the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).

"Once he applies for the Olympics, it's really out of our hands," NAC executive director Bob Bennett told MMAjunkie.com's Steven Marrocco. "The Olympic committee or USADA may require or request public records information on him. It may have an impact, and it may not. But that’s not something that we regulate."

Silva failed multiple drug screenings before and after his bout with Nick Diaz at UFC 183 and faces a lengthy suspension pending an upcoming hearing with the NAC.

Bennett wouldn't comment on whether or not the NAC objects to Silva competing at the Olympics, though Silva did say he would withdraw should the commission ask him to.
