Analysis:

When asked Wednesday whether he believes Rondo will ever wear a Mavericks uniform again, coach Rick Carlisle replied, "No, I don't." It's a pretty frank assessment from Carlisle, who has not seen eye-to-eye with the mercurial point guard this season. Carlisle added that Rondo hurt his back while trying to take a charge on James Harden in the first half of Tuesday's Game 2. Rondo will continue to seek medical opinions and will remain away from the team. Set to be an unrestricted free agent this summer, Rondo will almost certainly be in another uniform in 2015-16.
