Adrian Wilson is riding off into the sunset as an Arizona Cardinal.
Wilson announced his retirement Monday at a press conference in Arizona and stated he would sign a one-day contract to retire with the team.
The safety played every snap in his 12-year career with the Cardinals. Wilson hasn't seen the field since 2012, though, after tearing his Achilles during 2013 training camp with the New England Patriots and failing to make the Chicago Bears last season.
Wilson will now join the Cardinals' staff as a personnel coach and will be inducted into the team's ring of honor this season.
During his 12 campaigns, Wilson earned five Pro Bowl nods and was three times named an All-Pro.
