When the Edmonton Oilers won the right to draft first in the upcoming NHL Entry Draft, all signs pointed to the team selecting Erie Otters star Connor McDavid, the consensus No. 1 pick.

Since winning the lottery on Saturday, McDavid fever has hit Edmonton.

On Monday, local Edmonton radio station Hot 107 decided to hand out Connor McMuffins to celebrate the local team's eventual drafting of the potential franchise-changing superstar.

McDavid earned 44 goals and 76 assists in 47 games for the Otters in 2014-15.
