In a move that shouldn't surprise anyone, Eastern Kentucky has suspended a pair of players following an off-field incident involving instate rival Kentucky.

Richmond, Ky., police released documents and videos Wednesday relating to a pair of separate incidents involving football players from the two schools.

The item that received the most press was a video showing Eastern Kentucky's Patrick Graffree laying out Kentucky quarterback Drew Barker in the lobby of an Eastern Kentucky dorm.

At least two Eastern Kentucky players were named in the police report - Graffree, a defensive tackle, and offensive lineman Colton Scurry.

Eastern Kentucky athletics director Steve Lochmueller released the following statement on the matter, as reported by Jennifer Smith of the Lexington Herald-Leader.

"Given the actions of these student-athletes, these players have been suspended from the EKU Football roster," Lochmueller said.

"Their future at the University will be determined pending the decision by personnel within our Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities. This type of behavior will not be tolerated."

Lochmueller added that the players' fates will be determined by an internal student judicial review. Both players have been removed from the Eastern Kentucky football roster online.
