Arkansas sophomore forward Bobby Portis declared for the 2015 NBA Draft over Twitter on Tuesday.

"Unbelievable experience for me at the University of Arkansas these past two years," Portis said. "The love I have for this program is unconditional but I've decided to forego [sic] my junior year of college to take that next step and enter into the NBA draft. Special thanks to God, my family, the coaching staff, the athletic department, the education faculty, my teammates, Jeff Long, and the fans. Without all of you none of this is possible. #WPS4EVA"

Portis enjoyed a breakout 2014-15 campaign in which he saw his name mentioned in player of the year conversations. He averaged 17.5 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.4 blocks.

Portis is viewed as a surefire first-round pick and could be taken in the lottery. DraftExpress currently ranks him as the No. 18 prospect on the board.
