Johnson (ankle) is not expected to travel to Sacramento for Monday's game against the Kings, Mark Medina of the LA Daily News reports.

Analysis:

Johnson sprained his ankle shortly before halftime of Sunday's loss to the Mavericks, but he did first manage to put up 16 points (6-9 FG, 4-5 3PT), a rebound and two assists in 20 minutes. He's likely done for the season, as the Lakers' only remaining games are both against the Kings, on Monday and then Wednesday. Coach Byron Scott has been using an eight-man rotation, so Johnson's minutes will need to be divided between multiple players. Jordan Clarkson, Jabari Brown and Ryan Kelly all logged 39 or more minutes in Sunday's loss, with Dwight Buycks chipping in 24 off the bench. Given that all of the Lakers' other healthy players strictly play power forward and/or center, Kelly could get a lot of run as the nominal small forward in the final two games.
