Bucks to rest Jared Dudley on Monday vs. Sixers

With the Milwaukee Bucks locked into the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference, head coach Jason Kidd will look to lighten the workload on his injured players.

That starts with forward Jared Dudley, who won't play Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers in an effort to rest his back, reports C.F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Dudley has missed seven games this season, owing in part to a back injury. He's been a solid contributor for Milwaukee, acting as a small-ball four in the Bucks' cramped offense.

Across 71 games played this season, Dudley is averaging 7.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game on 39.2 percent shooting from deep. He's filled in as an occasional spot starter and has been a reliable contributor on defense.
